Installation methods applicable to different types of ceilings
For concrete ceiling
Simply secure the installation using expansion bolts.
If there is a suspended ceiling as shown in the figure, no decorative cover is needed. However, if it is an exposed concrete ceiling, a decorative cover is required.
For sloped concrete ceiling
If it is necessary to install on a beam where the beam area is smaller than the back of the lift, or if the installation surface is sloped, fully threaded screws must be embedded into the ceiling to ensure the lift operates in a level, downward position.
Concealed Mounting for Wooden attics
We generally recommend installing between ceiling joists (as shown in the bottom-right image). However, if the spacing between the joists is unsuitable for installation, you can use the method shown in the left image.
The left image shows 16" OC spacing, while the top-right image shows 24" OC spacing. In both cases, wooden blocks are added on top of the ceiling joists as carriers. The steel bars is connected to the lift and placed on these carriers.
For Sloped wooden roofs
You need to construct a wooden platform to ensure the lift operates in a parallel position.
Notes:Generally, a remote control is sufficient. The Wall Switch Control needs additional purchase.
The wired switch can only be connected using UL2464 4-Core Signal Cable AWG24 signal cable, instead of a power cable or it will destroy the main unit.

When is the best time to install?
The best time to install the lift is during construction or renovation when you have easy access to ceiling joists and wiring. For existing ceilings, plan for any needed modifications, like adding a backer board or repairing drywall.

How to Determine if a Decorative Cover is Needed?
- If your ceiling is exposed concrete, we recommend purchasing our decorative cover.
- If your ceiling is concrete with a suspended ceiling (drywall) and there is a gap of more than 15cm between the drywall and the concrete, you can install the lift within this gap and then repair the drywall.
If your ceiling is wooden with ceiling joists:
- Concealed Mounting: You can purchase two steel channels and drill holes to secure them across the ceiling joists (provided that the joist spacing is 16 inches or more). This method allows the lift to be installed between the joists without requiring a decorative cover, but drywall repair will be necessary.
- Surface Mounting: You can purchase a mounting board, such as plywood (at least 1/2 inch thick) or a metal plate (at least 1/4 inch thick). First, remove the drywall in the installation area, drill holes in the mounting board, and attach it beneath the ceiling joists. Then, secure the lift to the mounting board using bolts and install a decorative cover. Generally, the decorative cover will conceal the removed drywall area, eliminating the need for drywall repair. Beautiful. Just checkout the video. Everything worked perfectly - had some questions with the installation instructions and customer service responds within the day and stays with me through installation. Provided additional videos and diagrams when prompted about wiring and operation. A few things that are in the instructions but should be called out so others don't miss them (like I did :D):- If the lift (and the chandelier connected to it) are powered on, ascend and descend buttons WILL LOCK after 20 min. Spin button will still work. This is to prevent children from messing with the remote. Simply turn off power and power back on to reenable ascend and descend.- don't press the 3rd button on the remote (human head label) unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing - it apparently is for programming the height of the maximum descend or something.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen a machine that can actually rotate a chandelier—it’s seriously cool. Every time we have guests over, I turn on the rotation and it always gets compliments.It also has a lift function, which works great, though the motor is a bit loud (not a big deal since we don’t use it that often). What really impressed me was the customer service. They responded quickly and explained everything I needed to know about wiring and installation in great detail.The system includes special steel bars for 16’’ ceiling joists, which really helped, but depending on your setup, you might need to make a few adjustments. In my case, I added a sister joist for extra support. The support team gave me solid advice every step of the way—they clearly know what they’re doing.
Very nice chandelier lift that also allow you to rotate the chandelier. It works very nicely but it does make a slight short chirp when the chandelier is turned on. Not an issue as we’ve gotten used to it. A nice improvement would be to turn it off with the remote.Great way to access a chandelier from a tall ceiling and also rotate it for the best viewing angle.
